What is integrative psychotherapy?
Integrative therapy is a method or process used to reach wholeness. Looking at parts of ourselves we may have disowned or need to resolve. The integrative approach has a way of helping you let your guard down in order to be open to what life has to offer.
Powerful Heart believes it is also important to look at human development. Each phase of a human life introduces sensitivities, crisis and other opportunities to learn from; including how a person develops spiritually.
By using integrative therapy Powerful heart may utilize different modalities such as psychodynamic, client-centered, behaviorist, cognitive, family therapy, Gestalt therapy, body-psychotherapies, object relations theories, psychoanalytic approach. These approaches are all considered within this integrative systems perspective.
